Wednesday, Dec 19th - Hero: Mike Huckabee

Now, this is not necessarily an endorsement for Presidency.

This is about the fact that he put out an ad in Iowa wishing the citizens a Merry Christmas and acutally saying it was a time to celebrate the birth of Christ. Big Kudos for having the kahoonas to acknowledge Christ in this politically correct world!

Of course, the media world is in an UPROAR. Hiliarious.

Seriously, the funniest thing about this is watching them all talk about the 'subliminal' floating cross over his right shoulder! The spokesman for the Catholic church is huffing about Mike going 'over the line' and even the conservative talk show hosts on Fox are asking if he's 'pandering' to evangelical christians! You know what makes this so dang funny? Everyone's freaking out about this cross (which is really a bookcase) when he actually says out loud in the commercial, 'this is a time to celebrate the birth of CHRIST'. Why would he need to 'subliminal' ANYTHING????? So stupid.

Our world is filled with a bunch of hysterical 9 year-olds fighting stupid playground fights (it's not fair, he's a doody-head, I'm gonna tell on you, my dad's can beat up your dad). The truly scary part is they are determined to take the rest of us down with them, and many of us just sit by and watch it happen. Worse, we switch the channel to see what Britney Skank and Lindsay Ho are up to these days...

So! The second kudo to Mike is the sheer brilliance of the ad. The guy has not raised a whole heck of a lot of money. He knew very well that the ad would garner national attention and be shown over and over on the National Networks. Thereby, the ad that may have cost him $1 million is now worth over $50 million (estimates) at least. Plus, he's been interviewed about the ad now (more free publicity). These interviews have been brilliant, because, face it - ol' Mike's a humorous guy. He says the 'cross' was not subliminal (because, as I say above, the whole message was about Christ), but if you play the spot backwards it says 'Paul is Dead'... The guy's just funny...

The other good outcome for the Huckster is that now, EVERYONE is bashing him. Why's that good? Americans, especially Iowans, love to vote for the guy that's getting bashed the hardest (as long as the bashee is humble and 'aw shucks' about it). Want proof? Look at Reagan, no one thought he had a chance until the hardcore bashing started. Look at Clinton - he was basically declared dead by the media. But, the more the media and Washington hated him, the more America embraced him. More recently, look at ol' GWB himself. Guess what, Huckabee is tied for the lead in the national polls. Just two months ago he was in 4th place...

"Blessed are you, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for My sake." - Matthew 5:11

In closing, I will just say, again, please check out the candidates websites and get educated on where they stand. This is OUR country and we owe it to ourselves, and especially our children, to be responsible in our voting. Not just presidential, either, but local as well. No one is going to be perfect, but look within yourself to see who stands closest to your values.

Tuesday, Dec 18th - Hero: Alexis Goggins

Alexis is a 7 year old little girl from Detroit.

She has epilepsy after suffering a stroke when she was just shy of her 1st birthday. Because of this she has some pretty severe learning disabilities and attends 'special classes' at school.

Despite all of these things, little Alexis knew enough to jump over the seat of an SUV in front of her mother and take 6 bullets into her body in order to save her mother's life. That's right... 6 bullets.

Seleitha, Alexis's mother ended up with a bullet in her side and one to the head. Luckily the head wound was superficial and Mom got released from the hospital in two days. Little Alexis is still there, still unconcious. Please, please pray for her.

The other good news is that the scum that shot them was caught. Pray that he get the punishment he deserves. He stalked Seleitha for months, and finally was able to hijack her friend's vehicle after she and Alexis got in one night. The friend convinced Scumbag that she needed gas, but after pulling over Mr. Scumbag opened fire. He didn't get far before he was caught.

If Seleitha didn't appreciate the little angel God gave her the priviledge of raising, I guarantee she does now.

Monday, Dec 17th - Zero: Ocala School System

Yesterday in Ocala, FL a dangerous maniac was arrested in the Middle School.

The suspect? A 10 year old hardened criminal who had brought a steak knife to school for the singular purpose of cutting up the steak she had brought for lunch!!!!

Sounds like a joke, right? Sadly, it's not.

Some brilliant teacher in the lunch room observed the girl using the knife to cut up her meat into bite-sized portions and put it back into her lunch bag. So, what did the brilliant teacher do? Called the sheriff.

Can you imagine the sqaud cars flying into the school parking lot, lights flashing, tires squalling, and guns drawn to take down this little girl.

So, the cops arrest this child and take her to the station for assessment (I swear I am not making this up) and charge her with a FELONY. Seriously. Plus 10 days suspension.

And of course, they say they did this because they couldn't reach the parents... Typical - let's deflect the attention off of us by BLAMING THE PARENTS for our incredible stupidity.

And schools wonder why parents are choosing to homeschool their kids by the hundreds of thousands!!!

Peace, love, and GOD,
Tracy

Friday Dec 14th - Hero: Hulk Hogan

I've always liked this guy. He's flambouyant, sure, but the guy seems like someone who has always put 110% of himself into every project.. and we all know how much I admire a good work ethic!

Anyway, he's my hero today for saying the one celebrity he would like to see pummeled in a new version of American Gladiators is.... Rosie O'Donnell!!

So, where can I sign up to be the Gladiator???

Thursday, Dec 13th - Zero: GMA

That would be the Good Morning, America show on ABC.

This morning they had on the Mother of the loser kid that shot all those people at the Omaha Mall.
So, it's official, in this country if you get mowed down by a selfish mouth-breathing freak, it doesn't matter if you are a mother and grandmother of great, product citizens, or a teenage kid who followed all the rules and were on your way to being a doctor that saves lives. NOOOO, nobody cares, America wants to feel sorry for the mouth-breathing people pod that gave birth to the scumbag that shot you. I don't want to hear it. A kid does not get to the point he got to if he's in a loving, caring environment. Even if he had mental problems, what parent doesn't recognize that and get them into proper care?

The other problem I have with GMA is that they did a story on the First Baptist Church of Ft. Lauderdale. It was about a huge Christmas performance they put on every year. The play is so good that it has been nominated for Broadway type awards. What GMA focused their story on was the fact that the play costs $1.3 million to put on. Their angle? To bash the church for not giving that money to charity instead.. They also claimed that the people in the play were getting paid to be in the play.
The truth is this: The costs are completely covered by ticket sales. Any extra they bring in on ticket sales goes to pay for a Homeless program they do the week after the Christmas play. They have a 'memorial' for homeless people that have died, and serve a meal.
The other thing is that the people in the play are volunteers. They don't get paid one dime. The other bit of 'news' that GMA left out: This church gives over $10 million per year in charity and mission work.

GMA wouldn't know News if it bit them in the ass....

Tracy

Wednesday Dec 12th - Hero: God

Duh...

Today has just been a really good day. And I am one to give credit where credit is due!

My day started with a phone call from a friend who is helping me make Christmas special for a little boy that needs to believe in Santa. She's a hero, too.

Then, I got to have lunch with my brother, whom I love being around. He's awesome, and he had some good news today, too. God has been good to him, giving miracle after miracle. I spent many years praying for myself and Erika, now I pray for him and his family 100 times per day. I love his wife like a best friend and his kids... well, his kids, all 3 of them, are so special to me that I can't even describe it. For that alone, he's a hero to me.

(The secret that I've learned is that God removes the veils from your eyes and allows you to see the miracles happening in other lives when you pray that hard. The most humbling moment in your life is when you recognize a miracle in motion for someone else, and know that you've experienced them in your own life, but never acknowledged it. Why is it so hard to look inward?)

This afternoon I had a terrific brainstorming session here at work. It reminded my of how great my job is and how lucky I am to enjoy what I do and the people I work with. I really am blessed.

So, maybe it is the Christmas spirit, but I am in a really good mood. I love feeling like this, full of optimism and love. I have the best family and the best friends ever. I could seriously name something awesome about each and everyone of you right now and something you have done that has impacted the way I live my life. For that, you are all my heros..

Peace, love, and GOD,

Tracy

Monday Dec 10th - Zero: Oprah Winfrey

I can feel the hate mail coming already!

Now, trust me on this. I am an Oprah fan myself. I love her show. Really. In fact, I think her interview of Bill O'Reilly was the best I've ever seen.

However~ I absolutely detest when a celebrity uses their popularity to further a political agenda. Yes, I know she has pointed out that it is her right as a citizen. Well, that's bullshit. The average citizen doesn't have the ability to draw thousands of people to speeches. The average citizen doesn't get arenas 'donated' as places to give the speeches. The average citizen can't jet around the country to attend said speeches. There are thousands, maybe millions, of women around this country that are practically hypnotized by Oprah. They would shave their heads if she told them to, so you know that a good percentage will vote the way she tells them to! Will they research the issues? Will they form their own opinions as to whether the policies are right for them and America? Hell No!!!!! That's why this pisses me off so much..

All I ask is that if you are thinking of voting for a candidate, spend just 1 hour on their website making sure you know where they stand on the issues.

For instance:

Did you know that if elected, Barak Hussein Obama has plans to force ALL employers to allow their employees join a union? What, are we in the freaking 1930's? Unions? Seriously? Can you spell o-r-g-a-n-i-z-e-d c-r-i-m-e? Anyone who thinks they still need a labor union doesn't understand our legal system. There are more laws in effect to protect the worker than there are to protect our children... Chew on that for awhile..
All unions do is collect money from people that can't really afford it, and then tell them to strike (without pay) when they say to.

Did you know that Barak Hussein Obama is for forcing banks to loan money to Minority owned small business, at good interest rates, regardless of credit history? Can you say increased rates for the business owners who have followed the rules??

Did you know that Barak Hussein Obama is planning to increase the amount of Social Security Tax on people who make more than $95k per year, but not allow them to draw a larger percentage when they retire? May not seem like much to some people, but this is one small step into the world of Socialism. Do you want to live in the United Socialist States of America?

I'm definitely no fan of Hillary, but B. Hussein Obama scares the living shit out of me.

(By the way - there is virtually NO difference in policy between these two - check out for yourself and let me know if you would be able to tell their websites apart if you took their names off...)

Just to be bi-partisan, I will say there's some things everyone should know about some of the Republican candidates:

Mike Huckabee - coming on strong and has some great ideas. My favorite is his plan to eliminate the IRS. No Federal Income Tax (which is an illegal tax anyway - was set up to be voluntary), death tax, estate tax, capital gains tax, etc... There is a question on his commentment to stopping illegal immigration. As governor he supported a few initiatives that were easy on employers. However, on his website (www.mikehuckabee.com) he has laid out a pretty tough stance on it. Look it up and decide for yourself.

Rudy Guiliani - he's more liberal than Hillary. It's true - check his record. Tough on crime, true, and fiscally conservative, but I don't think he would move the needle on anything enough to be worth it.

Mitt Romney - he's a little scary. I think he has good ideas, and is definitely a conservative, but I have to wonder at his affectiveness. He was the governor of the most liberal state in the US which passed some crazy laws while he was in charge. Maybe he's afraid of too much confrontation? I don't know. I do know that we need a president that is not a pushover.

Ron Paul - he's a libertarians dream come true. I would give anything if this man could become president, but it's a pipe dream. Maybe some day...

Again ~ I would challenge everyone to check out all the candidates websites for yourself - don't take my word for it.

Peace, Love, and GOD,
Tracy

Friday, Dec 7th - Zero: Omaha Mall Shooter

Edit ~ Well, there have been two other mass shooting / suicide episodes... The sheriff was on the news this morning saying his number 1 concern is that the media coverage will spur more copycats... If you pray, please pray that there aren't...

Also on this subject, let's pray that the fact that Drew Peterson, ex chief of police, can't get away with murdering his wifes might make a few other sickos out there think twice. I mean really, divorce is so freakin easy to do in this country and doesn't usually end in death row!
_________________________________________________________________

This one just makes me sick.

The worst part is that he got just want he wanted. He's famous. I won't print his name here but it doesn't matter. The news networks have slobbered all over this freak. So now, any other kid with a gun and no self-worth will think 'how cool - I can finally be popular...'

There has been barely a mention of the victims and what their deaths have cost the world. No, instead we have to hear how bad this kid's life has been and how he lost his girlfriend and his job and he's strung out on drugs.... Oh wait - he was on drugs? Well, that changes everthing!! Let's put a statue up, because it WASN'T HIS FAULT everybody! See, he was on drugs so it's someone else's responsibility.

Sheesh.

I am so sick of the mainstream media deciding what is and is not okay for us. They tell us what to eat, drink, think, and believe. America has become a country of sheep. BAAAAA
We all think we have freewill, but it's a joke... We care more about got kicked off of Dancing with the Stars and what Posh is wearing than we do about our economy and the morality of our country.

Look out for the copycats. Remember after the Virginia Tech shooting? There were at least 3 copycat incidents. Why? Because these other loser wannabe's saw that kid get made into some sort of mythological figure that the media talked about 24/7 for days on end. The media even PREDICTED (hoped for) that there would be copycats because of the coverage.

God save us.

Tracy

Imaginary Letter from Bush

This is an extra little nugget. I received this email last night and it was too good not to share. It's an imaginary resignation letter from Bush, and it is priceless... The part in red could have come straight from my mouth.

Normally, I start these things out by saying "My Fellow Americans." Not doing it this time. If the polls are any indication, I don't know who more than half of you are anymore. I do know something terrible has happened, and that you're really not fellow Americans any longer.

I'll cut right to the chase here: I quit. Now before anyone gets all in a lather about me quitting to avoid impeachment, or to avoid prosecution or something, let me assure you: There's been no breaking of laws or impeachable offenses in this office.

The reason I'm quitting is simple. I'm fed up with you people. I'm fed up because you have no understanding of what's really going on in the world. Or of what's going on in this once-great nation of ours. And the majority of you are too damned lazy to do your homework and figure it out.

Let's start local. You've been sold a bill of goods by politicians and the news media. Polls show that the majority of you think the economy is in the tank. And that's despite record numbers of homeowners, including record numbers of MINORITY homeowners. And while we're mentioning minorities, I'll point out that minority business ownership is at an all-time high. Our unemployment rate is as low as it ever was during the Clinton administration. I've mentioned all those things before, but it doesn't seem to have sunk in.

Despite the shock to our economy of 9/11, the stock market has rebounded to record levels and more Americans than ever are participating in these markets. Meanwhile, all you can do is whine about gas prices, and most of you are too damn stupid to realize that gas prices are high because there's increased demand in other parts of the world, and because a small handful of noisy idiots are more worried about polar bears and beachfront property than your economic security.

We face real threats in the world. Don't give me this "blood for oil" thing. If I were trading blood for oil I would've already seized Iraq 's oil fields and let the rest of the country go to hell. And don't give me this 'Bush Lied; People Died' crap either. If I were the liar you morons take me for, I could've easily had chemical weapons planted in Iraq so they could be 'discovered.' Instead, I owned up to the fact that the intelligence was faulty.

Let me remind you that the rest of the world thought Saddam had the goods, same as me. Let me also remind you that regime change in Iraq was official US policy before I came into office. Some guy named ' Clinton ' established that policy. Bet you didn't know that, did you?

You idiots need to understand that we face a unique enemy. Back during the cold war, there were two major competing political and economic models squaring off. We won that war, but we did so because fundamentally, the Communists wanted to survive, just as we do. We were simply able to out spend and out-tech them

That's not the case this time. The soldiers of our new enemy don't care if they survive. In fact, they want to die. That'd be fine, as long as they weren't also committed to taking as many of you with them as they can. But they are. They want to kill you, and the bastards are all over the globe.

You should be grateful that they haven't gotten any more of us here in the United States since September 11. But you're not. That's because you've got no idea how hard a small number of intelligence, military, law enforcement, and homeland security people have worked to make sure of that. When this whole mess started, I warned you that this would be a long and difficult fight. I'm disappointed how many of you people think a long and difficult fight amounts to a single season of 'Survivor.'

Instead, you've grown impatient. You're incapable of seeing things through the long lens of history, the way our enemies do. You think that wars should last a few months, a few years, tops.

Making matters worse, you actively support those who help the enemy. Every time you buy the New York Times, every time you send a donation to a cut-and-run Democrat's political campaign, well, dang it, you might just as well FedEx a grenade launcher to a Jihadist. It amounts to the same thing.

In this day and age, it's easy enough to find the truth. It's all over the Internet. It just isn't on the pages of the New York Times or on NBC News. But even if it were, I doubt you'd be any smarter. Most of you would rather watch American Idol.

I could say more about your expectations that the government will always be there to bail you out, even if you're too stupid to leave a city that's below sea level and has a hurricane approaching.

could say more about your insane belief that government, not your own wallet, is where the money comes from. But I've come to the conclusion that were I to do so, it would sail right over your heads.

So I quit. I'm going back to Crawford. I've got an energy-efficient house down there (Al Gore could only dream) and the capability to be fully self-sufficient. No one ever heard of Crawford before I got elected, and as soon as I'm done here pretty much no one will ever hear of it again. Maybe I'll be lucky enough to die of old age before the last pillars of America fall.

Oh, and by the way, Cheney's quitting too. That means Pelosi is your new President. You asked for it. Watch what she does carefully, because I still have a glimmer of hope that there are just enough of you remaining who are smart enough to turn this thing around in 2008.

So that's it. God bless what's left of America . Some of you know what I mean. The rest of you, kiss off.

December 4th - Zero: Al Gore

Okay, so today was a hard decision. I was going to choose Hugo Chavez, but thinking about him wears me out. Besides, I think the whole world knows what a big fat zero he is (the whole world, that is, but the commie liberal mouth breathers in hollyweird).

Al Gore. The very sight of the man brings my last meal to the top of my gullet... The really puzzling part about what is going on right now is that so many people act like the guy has a clue what he's talking about . Global warming? Seriously?

Let's look at the hypocrisy (I love pointing out hypocrisy of liberals, since this is their own rallying call) of Gore talking about global warming:

The only place Al Gore is conserving energy these days is on the treadmill. Forget carbon footprint, Gore's actual footprint these days is almost as deep as Janet Reno's....

As has been widely reported, Gore's mansion in Tennesee uses 20 times the energy of an average sized home. Then there's the flights on private jets and being picked up in huge gas guzzling SUV convoys. But hey ~ it's okay ~ Al Gore purchases Carbon offsets! In otherwords, only really weathly people have the right to destroy the environment. It's only us poor average americans in 'flyover' country who should have to purchase hybrids and take 5 minute showers and let our yards crisp up in dry weather...

It took the Catholic Church hundreds of years to develop corrupt practices such as papal indulgences. The global warming religion has barely been around for 20 years, and yet its devotees are allowed to pollute by the simple expedient of paying for papal indulgences called "carbon offsets."

Americans spend an extra $2.2 billion on gas a year because they're overweight, requiring more fuel in cars to carry the extra pounds. So even with all those papal indulgences, Gore may have a small carbon footprint, but he has a huge carbon butt-print.

Gore made a movie, which of course Hellywood has fallen all over themselves to honor, and scientist started coming out of the woodwork pointing out serious flaws, and a couple of outright lies. What happens? Gore gets a Nobel prize. How appropriate. Really...

I would like to point out that this is a unique talent of the far left liberals: if you say it 10 times in a row, you start to believe your own BS. Kinda like John Edwards living in a 28,000 sq ft mansion and getting $400 haircuts and believing he represents the 'poor man'...

Where do they find these morons?

December 3rd - Hero: My 3 Girls

This one may seem a little lazy, but my daughter and step-daughters put up our Christmas tree Saturday night and it is the most beautiful our tree has ever looked!

They also arranged my Nativity scene and decorated my mantle and coffee table. Everything turned out so perfect. Afterwards we made a special batch of Erika's rice crispy treats, and made ourselves sick...

It was just a great night for all of us. I think we are going to do something similar on Christmas Eve. My step-daughters are going through some stress at home and this gives them an excuse to just be kids. If you have ever been a child of divorce, you will understand...
On another note: The Hogs are going to the Cotton Bowl - good news. Bad news is that we are playing Missouri. The Cotton Bowl is only really special if we are playing Texas!
This was a bittersweet weekend for football. The Chiefs sucked it up against our conference rivals and the Saints were the Aints again... the 'sweet' in bittersweet comes in the form of Denver LOSING to the Raiders!!! How bad do you have to suck to lose to Oakland??? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Peace, Love, and GOD,
Tracy
